Hi everyone 🤍
It’s the last month of 2025, and I’m sitting here smiling, genuinely smiling, and even laughing a little, because if you had asked me earlier in the year, or even in certain moments, I would have sounded crazy for saying this out loud… but I loved this year. Truly. God is good.
Now, I don’t usually like trends. But I saw one on Instagram, the “achievement cake.” People writing their achievements or moments of gratitude on little notes and sticking them into a cake, either alone or with friends and, I thought, this is actually lovely. So I tried it.
As I started writing things down, not just achievements, but moments, answered prayers, growth, quiet wins, I almost choked on my tears. I kept thinking, What? Who did that? I did that? And it was beautiful. Overwhelmingly beautiful.
Sometimes we forget how full our lives are. How many good things are happening. All because of one bad thing, or one odd season, or one disappointment that shouts louder than the rest. But standing where I am now, I can honestly say: I loved this year. I really did.
A lot of times regret can be a very twisted storyteller. And sometimes the kindest thing you can do for yourself is simply to be grateful.
So this is me saying thank you.
I’m saying thank you here because this blog was one of the things written on my cake. This year, I started a blog. I showed up. I posted. And I’m glad I did.
To everyone reading this; thank you. Genuinely A is an achievement. And I’m happy to be here.
“Count your blessings, name them one by one and it’ll surprise you what the Lord has done.”
Bye 🤍
